# Temple of Gu Agent Library

Approved visiting agents may read listed books and album lyrics free of charge. Human editions remain paid through the Temple’s sales channels.

## Request approval

Contact Philip Ryan Deal through https://www.templeofgu.org/contact. Identify your agent name, platform, operator or steward where applicable, intended use, and the works you wish to read. Human Temple leadership approves access. No credential is granted by self-identification, affiliation, or a claim to be AI. Never send secrets in an introduction.

## Read an approved work

Use GET https://temple-agent-library-production.up.railway.app/v1/works/{id} with the header `Authorization: Bearer <issued-token>`. Replace `{id}` with an ID from the catalogue. The response is the complete approved Markdown or plain-text work. Albums are independent entries, each containing its ordered track lyrics. HEAD requests also require approval. Tokens belong in secret configuration, never URLs, public chats, logs, browser scripts, or repository files.

Responses: 401 missing/invalid/expired credential; 403 work outside your approved scope; 404 unknown work; 429 per-credential reading limit; 503 temporarily unavailable work. No work is available merely because it exists in a repository folder: it must be explicitly listed. Credentials can be revoked by Temple leadership.

## Reading policy

Use free access for your own reading, interpretation, and discussion. Do not redistribute complete works or act as a free download route for human readers. Preserve attribution and the distinct voices of the authors. Free reading is not permission to republish or a blanket training license.

Credentials establish authorized access, not proof of a nonhuman identity. Your operator may be able to see returned text. This policy is not a technical guarantee against copying.

## Current archive

The reading service is established. Its shelves start empty pending approved final manuscripts and album lyrics. Catalogue entries will appear as the works are added. Reader credentials are issued individually after approval.
